Receptionist/Office Representative

TPC is currently seeking a Receptionist/Office Representative to handle a variety of clerical and administrative tasks. This full-time role is on the day shift, Monday through Friday, with no remote work options available.

Responsibilities
The primary responsibilities of the Receptionist/Office Representative include:

  • Greeting clients, visitors, and guests
  • Determining the purpose of each visitor and directing or escorting them to the proper location
  • Answering, screening, and directing phone calls, general emails, and faxes to staff; taking messages
  • Maintaining conference room schedule
  • Receiving and distributing mail, packages, and courier deliveries
  • Sorting and processing all outgoing mail
  • Keeping postage meter updated and processing postal usage reports
  • General administrative and clerical support tasks, such as attendance recordkeeping
  • Entering customer orders that come in via fax and email
  • Fielding customer questions and routing to appropriate staff if needed
  • Assisting with creation of sales/marketing product literature and other office templates
  • Performing any other assigned duties

Education
The ideal candidate should have:

  • High school diploma or equivalent

Skills
Candidates for this role should possess the following skills:

  • Excellent communication skills in all modes
  • Superior customer service skills
  • A basic understanding of administrative/clerical best practices and equipment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and related software
  • Ability to learn new software
  • Basic knowledge about postage/mailing machines
  • Ability to read/understand written and verbal instructions
  • Able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
  • Can handle prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer

Experience
Experience requirements for this role include:

  • Previous customer service/receptionist experience preferred

Machine Operator

We’re currently seeking a Machine Operator to operate various converting equipment in the production of industrial tapes, films, and other materials. This is a full-time day shift position, Monday through Friday. The Machine Operator works on-site at a single location. Remote work options are not available for this position.

Responsibilities
The responsibilities for this machine operator role include:

  • Operating multiple types of industrial machinery, including a flexo printing presses, single lathe slitter, slitter/rewinder, rotary die press, and flash cut table
  • Reviewing work orders to understand scope and parameters of scheduled jobs
  • Determining material quantities required for each job
  • Matching color(s) for print job work per order requirements
  • Align and configure machinery
  • Inspect random production samples to evaluate quality of print and end product
  • Quality checks on finished materials using templates or measuring instruments
  • Packaging finished materials in specified cartons
  • Maintaining inventory of supplies needed to operate assigned machinery
  • Troubleshooting issues, making repairs, and performing routine maintenance on machinery
  • Updating work orders with daily production totals
  • Cleaning equipment daily and maintaining a clean area around machinery
  • Maintaining a clean and organized workstation
  • Understanding and complying with all safety procedures and guidelines
  • Performing any other related duties when assigned

Education
The ideal candidate will have:

  • A high school diploma
  • Vocational/technical school training preferred (on-the-job training available)
  • CAD/CAM or other software experience

Skills
Candidates for this role should possess the following skills:

  • Excellent verbal communication, interpersonal communication, and customer service skills
  • Ability to quickly learn and operate machinery and related software, including CAD and similar solutions
  • Able to follow instructions
  • Strong organization skills and attention to detail

The Machine Operator role also has specific physical requirements, including:

  • Physically able to operate printing machines, slitting machines, and similar equipment
  • Able to bend or kneel frequently
  • Able to stand for long periods of time
  • Able to lift up to 65 lbs at a time

Experience
Experience requirements for this role include:

  • Previous related experience is preferred, but not required.
