Controller

We are currently seeking a Controller to plan and direct the accounting operations of the company under the direction of the CFO.

Responsibilities
As Controller, you would be responsible to:

  • Oversee general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash, inventory, payroll, and financial statement reporting.
  • Supervise the accounting team.
  • Oversee general accounting and financial operations including the monthly close.
  • Oversee preparation of the monthly GAAP combined financial statements.
  • Manage day-to-day operations of the accounting and credit department.
  • Maintain internal control and safeguards for receipt of revenue, costs, and expenses.
  • Coordinate and prepare all internal and external financial reports on a timely basis.
  • Oversee preparation of journal entries and balance sheet account reconciliations.
  • Maintain accounting procedures and policies.
  • Oversee and comply with local, state, and federal reporting requirements and tax filings.
  • Manage outsourced year-end procedures and tax return preparation with outside CPA firm.
  • Manage the annual financial statement review.
  • Maintain files for external reviews.

Education/Experience
The ideal candidate will have:

  • BS in accounting or related area. CPA preferred.
  • 7+ years of relevant accounting experience.

Quality Manager--Cincinnati

We’re currently seeking a Quality Manager to oversee the production process to ensure that all products meet standards set by the Quality Management Team in accordance with ISO and IATF and customer specific requirements. Duties include developing and implementing approved quality control tests, inspecting products at specific stages, documenting production issues, and overseeing all ISO and IATF requirements.

Responsibilities
The responsibilities for the Quality Manager role include:

  • Implement methods to inspect, test, and evaluate products and production equipment.
  • Ensure that raw materials and finished products adhere to quality standards.
  • Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data.
  • Work according to deadlines for the delivery of products.
  • Train production line staff in best production practices and quality assessment of goods.
  • Track products through the manufacturing process to guarantee that each stage of the process is functioning correctly.
  • Perform detailed and recorded inspections of final products so the products are up to company and customer expectations.
  • Use tools and software to produce statistical reports on quality standards.
  • Eliminate products that are not up to standards and identify the reasons for product problems. Use root cause analysis and FMEA methodology.
  • Support the QMT in the ISO and IATF certification procedures and process control.
  • Design and adjust files/artwork from customers for prototyping.
  • Manage product recalls and manufacturers COA’s.
  • Generate reports for upper management on quality standard issues.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Education
The ideal candidate will have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, engineering, or another related field.
  • Certified Quality Inspector preferred.

Machine Operator--Cincinnati

We’re currently seeking a Machine Operator to operate various converting equipment in the production of industrial tapes, films, and other materials. This is a full-time day shift position, Monday through Friday. The Machine Operator works on-site at a single location. Remote work options are not available for this position.

Responsibilities
The responsibilities for this machine operator role include:

  • Operating multiple types of industrial machinery, including a flexo printing presses, single lathe slitter, slitter/rewinder, rotary die press, and flash cut table
  • Reviewing work orders to understand scope and parameters of scheduled jobs
  • Determining material quantities required for each job
  • Matching color(s) for print job work per order requirements
  • Align and configure machinery
  • Inspect random production samples to evaluate quality of print and end product
  • Quality checks on finished materials using templates or measuring instruments
  • Packaging finished materials in specified cartons
  • Maintaining inventory of supplies needed to operate assigned machinery
  • Troubleshooting issues, making repairs, and performing routine maintenance on machinery
  • Updating work orders with daily production totals
  • Cleaning equipment daily and maintaining a clean area around machinery
  • Maintaining a clean and organized workstation
  • Understanding and complying with all safety procedures and guidelines
  • Performing any other related duties when assigned

Education

  • Vocational/technical school training preferred (on-the-job training available)
