Plant Manager-Converting Operations

At TPC Packaging Solutions, we continue to invest in our converting operations—expanding capabilities, improving processes, and delivering high-quality custom solutions to our customers. We’re looking for a Plant Manager who can lead daily operations, develop our team, and ensure we consistently deliver high-quality products.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead day-to-day operations of the converting facility, ensuring production goals are met safely, efficiently, on time, and to specification
  • Oversee production scheduling, workflow, and resource allocation (labor, materials, and equipment) to maximize productivity and minimize downtime
  • Lead, coach, and develop operators, shift leads, and support staff while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
  • Champion a safety-first environment, ensuring adherence to all safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
  • Monitor production and operational performance and drive continuous improvement to increase efficiency and reduce waste
  • Troubleshoot operational and production challenges, quickly resolving issues and eliminating bottlenecks
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Procurement, Quality, and Engineering to support customer needs and ensure smooth project execution
  • Communicate production performance, job status, priorities, and challenges clearly to internal teams and leadership
  • Manage plant-level performance, including labor efficiency, material usage, job costing, and overall operational profitability
Requirements
  • 5+ years working in a manufacturing or converting environment
  • 2+ years in a leadership role in a manufacturing or converting environment
  • Strong understanding of converting processes (slitting, rewinding, die cutting, laminating, printing, etc.)
  • Proven ability to lead and develop teams in a fast-paced production setting
  • A hands-on, problem-solving mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
  • Strong communication and decision-making skills
  • Experience working with safety and quality systems (ISO experience a plus)
  • Ability to troubleshoot equipment and production issues
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in related area preferred.

Inside Sales Manager

The Inside Sales Manager is responsible for developing and leading the inside sales function to drive revenue growth and strengthen customer relationships. This role will help develop the inside sales team, establish processes, coach team members, and create scalable sales practices. The manager will also actively contribute to sales efforts while collaborating with field sales, procurement, and operations. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who can both generate sales and build a high-performing team.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and develop the Inside Sales team — Oversee daily sales activity, quoting, order management, and customer support while fostering a high‑performance, customer‑focused culture.·
  • Set goals and coach performance — Establish clear expectations, monitor KPIs, and provide regular feedback to drive quota achievement.·
  • Develop and track KPIs — Monitor sales activity, pipeline health, quoting performance, and responsiveness.·
  • Own the quote to delivery experience — Ensure accurate processing, on‑time delivery, and strong customer satisfaction.·
  • Drive proactive customer engagement — Provide timely outreach on leads, outstanding quotes, and customer inquiries.·
  • Partner across the business — Collaborate with operations, procurement, marketing, and outside sales to deliver a seamless customer experience.·
  • Balance and optimize team workload — Prioritize urgent requests and allocate resources effectively.·
  • Analyze CRM and sales data — Identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement.·
  • Improve sales processes — Evaluate current practices and implement enhancements to increase efficiency and conversion.·
  • Grow revenue inside existing accounts — Identify new business opportunities and lead upsell/cross‑sell initiatives.·
  • Maintain strong customer communication — Provide product information, support, and issue resolution to strengthen relationships.
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of relevant experience in Sales Management of Customer Service Leadership·
  • Previous experience in an outbound call center or a related sales position.·
  • BA/BS degree in marketing, sales, business management, or related field.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team of inside sales representatives.
  • Exceptional consultative selling, customer relationship, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively, cross-functionally and drive results in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
  • Ability to set sales targets and achieve them effectively
  • Ability to design and implement a successful sales strategy·
  • Experience using CRM to manage the sales process and forecast sales
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

1st Shift Converting Machine Operator

This position is for 1st Shift: Monday-Friday 7am-4pm.
We are looking for an experienced material conversion machine operator that has previously worked in the converting industry. Machine Operators will operate various converting equipment to die cut films, tapes, and industrial materials, rewind and slit pressure sensitive tapes. Operator responsibilities include maintaining production runs and visually inspecting finished product as it is being produced to ensure quality and consistency.
Responsibilities:
  • Operate various types of machines including rotary die cutter, single lathe slitter, slitter/rewinder, flexo printing, and flash cut table.
  • Review work orders to understand scope and parameters of scheduled jobs.
  • Determine material quantities required for each job.
  • Align and configure machine. This includes troubleshooting issues and making basic repairs.
  • Inspect production samples to evaluate quality ensuring conformity to specifications.
  • Package finished material in specified cartons.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Experience working in converting industry or related industry.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Must be able to physically operate machinery. This involves bending and kneeling frequently, standing for long periods of time, and being able to lift up to 65 pounds at a time.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
Pay Range:$21-27/hour

Sales Development Rep

The Sales Development Rep (SDR) will be responsible for developing new leads, communicating with customers via telephone, email and virtual connections, understanding customer needs and ensuring a smooth sales process.  The SDR will be a knowledge base of the company’s products and services to offer the best sales experience to prospects and customers.  The SDR’s main function is to be a driven problem solver, identify new sales opportunities, build relationships and move opportunities through the sales pipeline.

  • Be the first point of contact for new business prospects and determine next steps for each prospect moving forward.
  • Communicate with customers; make outbound calls to potential customers; follow up on leads.
  • Understand customers’ needs and identify sales opportunities.
  • Answer potential customers’ questions and send additional information as required.
  • Keep up with product and service information and updates.
  • Create and maintain a pipeline of current and potential customers.  Record all progress in CRM system.

Account Manager- Louisville

We are seeking an Account Manager based in Louisville, KY to play a pivotal role in supporting our regional accounts. As a customer-facing role, the Account Manager will identify new opportunities to drive incremental sales while building strong, consultative relationships. Success in this position requires a deep understanding of the full range of TPC Packaging Solutions products and services, and the ability to clearly articulate how they can add value to each client’s business.

Essential Functions:

  • Build and maintain strong client relationships advising on TPCs products and services
  • Oversee vendor‑managed inventory programs to maintain accurate stock levels and smooth flow cycles
  • Identify and drive organic growth opportunities within existing accounts
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Sales, Procurement, Converting) to support customer needs
  • Partner with the Business Development Manager to execute strategic initiatives
  • Prepare monthly reports on prospects, projects, and account activity for Sales leadership
  • Conduct quarterly business review presentations with top clients.
  • Support accounting with collections and resolve customer escalations promptly
  • Contribute to marketing initiatives and overall business growth strategy
  • Deliver annual partnership highlight reports to showcase customer activities

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in customer service or account management.
  • Excellent communication skills to articulate value propositions clearly and persuasively
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze market trends and client needs to develop strategic plans

Base Salary: $63k-$75k annually + commission eligibility

Packaging Equipment Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Automation Packaging Sales Specialist to join our automation team. This individual will play a key role in driving sales of our innovative packaging solutions to a diverse range of industries. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in packaging machinery and a proven track record in sales, with the ability to build and maintain customer relationships, identify business opportunities, and deliver tailored solutions.

  • Identify and generate new business opportunities within the packaging equipment sector.
  • Develop, manage, and close a sales pipeline generated through prospecting, cold calling, networking, and attending industry events and trade shows.
  • Provide in-depth product knowledge and expertise to potential clients, understanding their unique needs and offering customized packaging solutions.
  • Conduct on-site application audits, time studies, and consultations with clients to recommend the best packaging equipment for their operations.
  • Prepare and present compelling sales proposals that are foremost driven by ROI and in alignment with customer requirements.
  • Build and nurture long-term relationships with clients to ensure repeat business and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate closely with the engineering, service, and sales support to stay updated on the latest equipment features, innovations, and technology.
  • Negotiate terms and close sales, ensuring profitable transactions and exceeding sales targets.
  • Provide ongoing customer support, including training, troubleshooting, and after-sales services to ensure optimal equipment performance.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, customer interactions, and market trends using our CRM tools.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitor products, and customer feedback to refine sales strategies.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Business, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in sales within the packaging, industrial equipment, or manufacturing sector.
  • Proven experience in selling packaging machinery or related products is highly preferred.
  • Strong technical knowledge of packaging equipment and automation systems.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to analyze customer needs and develop tailored solutions.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
